This Privacy Policy explains what information Ledjyr collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile photo as provided by Google.
Profile information. During onboarding and in Settings, you may provide your country, phone number, business name or online handle, primary platform, and main source of income. All of these are optional except country.
Financial data you log. Income entries, expense entries, and your tax profile (filing status, state, whether you have a day job and its income, retirement/health-insurance deduction amounts) — this is the core data that powers your estimates.
Billing information. When you subscribe, Stripe (our payment processor) handles your card details directly — we never see or store your full card number. We receive and store your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and billing dates so we know your account is active.
Usage data. We use Firebase Analytics (Google) in supported browsers to collect aggregated, anonymized usage data — e.g., which pages are visited and general engagement metrics. This isn't linked to your financial data.
Advertising & conversion measurement. We use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel to measure how well our ads perform. It records page visits and a small number of account milestones — creating an account, subscribing — and shares that activity with Meta so we can tell which ads are working and reach people likely to be interested in Ledjyr. Your financial data (income, expenses, tax profile) is never included in this and is never sent to Meta. You can limit this tracking with your browser's tracking-prevention settings, an ad blocker, or Meta's own ad preferences.
Contact form submissions. If you use the public Contact page, we store the name, email address, topic, and message you submit so our team can respond — whether or not you have a Ledjyr account.
What we never collect. We do not collect or store your online banking credentials, login details for other platforms (YouTube, Patreon, OnlyFans, etc.), or your full payment card number. Manual entry is a deliberate design choice, not a limitation we're working around.
We use your information to:
Ledjyr is built for self-employed people across every kind of platform, business, and income type — creators, freelancers, e-commerce sellers, and service businesses alike — including income sources other tools handle awkwardly, OnlyFans in particular. Your income category is used only to calculate your taxes correctly. We don't judge, flag, or treat any legal income source differently in how it's stored or protected, and we don't disclose your specific income sources to anyone (including Stripe or Firebase) beyond what's needed to run the service.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (Settings → Data & export → Danger zone), your logged data, tax profile, and account are deleted from our active systems immediately; any copies remaining in backups are cleared within a reasonable period afterward.
You can, at any time and without contacting us:
California residents: you have the right under the CCPA to know what personal information we hold about you and to request its deletion — both of which you can already do directly in the app as described above. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.
Ledjyr is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Ledjyr's tax calculations currently only support U.S. federal and state tax rules, but the app itself is available to sign up from anywhere. Regardless of where you're located, your account data is processed and stored using Google Firebase's cloud infrastructure. Contact us if you'd like more detail on the specific storage region.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including Firestore security rules that restrict your data to your own account. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you (e.g., by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect.
